NYX Powder Blush-Review

Hi Girls,

Today is a review of a great affordable blush that is said to have shades that are dupes of high-end brand such as NARS. I bought a couple of these and have loved using them. Keep reading for more info.

Product Claims:

‘Our pressed powder blush delivers sheer, silky color that glides on easily, blends beautifully and creates a natural glow. The formula is richly-pigmented and lasts for hours. Available in 24 radiant colors!’

 In My Opinion:

OMG I’m loving Nyx products at the moment like everyone else. I can’t get over how amazing they are for such an affordable price. I’m adding their blush to my love list.

These blushes are so great. I order all my Nyx products from Crushcosmetics.com.au. I order from here because I love the other brands available and they always get products or particular shades back in stock really quickly if they sell out. Plus I always get my order next business day…AMAZING! At the moment they have 17 of 24  Nyx shades available. The colours I have at the moment are the Dusty Rose, Pinched and Peach and I will probably buy more because I will never have enough!

My favourite is the Dusty Rose colour but I usually wear rose colours anyway because I think it suits my completion best. This reminds a lot of people of NARS Dolce Vita but I haven’t tried this one so I’m not sure myself (i’ll have to add to my list!). Everyone who’s anyone is raving about the shade Pinched. This is a rose peach colour similar to NARS Orgasm. I don’t think it’s an exact dupe but its pretty damn close so if you love NARS Orgasm then you will love this too. Peach is apparently a dupe for NARS Deep Throat so this one’s worth a try if you like that colour. It is more on the pink side than peach but I still really like this one as I tend to use more pink shade blushes.

The texture of the blush is quite soft, a small bit powdery but not much at all considering it’s a drugstore product. The product glides all nicely with no fall away.

The colour pay off is amazing and highly pigmented. I’d recommended starting with light brush strokes and building the colour so as not to use too much.

The big bonus is that it lasts ALL DAY. It lasts so much longer than most high end blushes I use. I never have a need to reapply.

The only downside for me is the packaging. It is a little cheap and hard to open. I can live with it though considering all the positives.

I seriously love these blushes and recommend them to everyone. You need these in your life!!!
