I really like this contour kit for a number of reasons. The packaging is fab! It’s sturdy, it’s compact and it has everything you need to contour your face in one place. The kit comes with three powder shades, a mirror and a sculpted brush. This is a great kit for travelling or for popping in your handbag
The shades of each powder is perfect and will suit a lot of skin tones. The highlight shade is a great cream colour so it’s not too white and not too yellow. The bronzing powder is a definite dupe for Nars Laguna which is my favourite bronzer. While the formula is different and it is slightly more matte I think this is a great dupe which makes me love this contour kit even more. The contour shade is the perfect shadow shade it is a brown that is slightly grey based but not so grey that it washes the skin out.
I like the pigmentation of each powder because the colour is subtle yet you can build upon each shade for the desired look. This is what you want from a contour kit because you don’t want to look completely over the top especially during the day yet you can build upon this for a night time or clubbing makeup look.
The powders are easy to use and more to the point, really is to blend. The contour shade and the bronze shade are definitely more buttery than the highlight shade which is a little disappointing. If you’re unsure of how to use it there’s a handy set of instructions included so you don’t need to worry about going wrong.
I dislike very little about this contour kit. The only thing I’ll say is that there is a lot of fall away with the highlight shade which is a bit annoying as I always think this is a waste of a product. The highlight shade especially hit pan in no time.
All in all this is a great product and definitely one to try and it is so easy to get unlike other popular contour kits!
