7 lipsticks 7 days Challenge

Hi Everyone!

If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know that last week I did a lipstick challenge. If there’s one beauty product I love it’s lipstick, I’m obsessed! When I seen a blogger I follow, Fashionista In Suburbia, set up this challenge I just had to get involved.

For those of you that don’t know, 7 lipsticks in 7 days challenge involves wearing a different colour lipstick everyday. A different colour was set for each day and then we all shared what we came up with. It was great to see so many different brands and colours that I’d never tried.

Here’s a run down of what I chose each day.

Monday: Nude

This is my favourite everyday nude combo. I’ve been wearing this lipliner and lipstick combination for weeks now. It’s the Ofra Cosmetics lipliner in wine and my favourite Rimmel Kate Moss nude in the shade 45.

Tuesday: Orange 

I usually don’t wear orange especially not to work. I was a little nervous to be honest but as my blog is about always being yourself I pushed myself and wore this bright shade. It’s the Revlon Colorburst lipstick in the shade 245 Audacious. I absolutely love this colour. I actually wasn’t sure if this suited me but a couple of people said this was their favourite look of the week, I couldn’t believe it!! This lipstick brightened my mood for the whole day, it’s funny how a lipstick can do that.

Wednesday: Pink

After yesterday’s bright lipstick I went for a more subtle pink and this one has been one of my favourites of the whole year. This is the Maybrlline 14hr lipstick in the shade Perpetual Peony. I love the colour, the texture and how long lasting it is.

Thursday: Berry/Purple 

Today was another bright and out there lipstick with Maybelline’s Color Sensational lipstick in the shade Perfect Plum. I completely forgot I had this lipstick in my collection so I’m really glad that the challenge has helped me to rediscover it.

Friday: Red

I wore my favourite red which is Mac’s All Fired Up. This is a retro matte finish and is one of my favourite finishes from Mac. It looks like velvet and lasts all day!

Saturday: Gloss 

I’m not a big fan of lipgloss at all. I just don’t like shiny lips. I do love the Estée Lauder lipgloss though. They’ve really pretty colours and they’re not over the top glossy. The shade I wore was 09 in Rock Candy. I love this shade. This is also probably the only gloss I own lol!

Sunday: Your Favourite 

This was so hard because I’m lipstick obsessed and I’ve too many favourites. Today I chose one of my new favourites which is a Chi Chi Viva La Diva lipstick in the shade Drop Dead Gorgeous. It’s a real 90’s lip colour that you could imagine Kylie Jenner loving. If you’re interested in seeing a review of these lipsticks click here!

The challenge was actually so much fun! People in work were wondering what colour id come in wearing next. My friend in work got involved and it really brightened our mood and made our working week a bit different.
