Marie Claire The Parcel Unboxing: Autumn 2016

As you can probably tell by now, I LOVE my subscription boxes! It’s a great way to try out beauty products and newly released products at a discounted price. It’s like receiving a present every month/quarter because you don’t know what you’re going to get.

Marie Claire’s The Parcel is a quarterly subscription sent every season. It cost me $29.95 including shipping for one box but you can subscribe for longer and they will work out cheaper. I bought two of these before; one in summer and one in spring so check them out if you’re interested.

This week I received the autumn box and it was full of goodies. In the box were 4 full size products and 2 deluxe samples so as usual, I’ll take you through what I got and share my thoughts.

Starting with the samples, the first items is a deluxe sample of the Estee Lauder New Dimension Shape & Fill Expert Serum. The full size has a RRP of $140!!! This is obviously something that I would be rushing out to buy but I’m a huge fan of Estee Lauder and a huge fan of their serums so I’m dying to try this. It promises to smooth, shape and plump the skin which sounds good to me.

The next product is a deluxe sample of Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. The RRP of a full size is $6.95. It’s a cult favoutite of a lot of people and it seems like it’s everyone’s favourite bargain buy but mine. I’ve tried this product a couple of times in the hope of loving it too but it unfortunately it’s just not one of mine. You can read all about why here. I’m sure a lot of people will love receiving this in their box but I’ll probably include it in a giveaway I have coming up.

The third item I received is a full size MOR Emporium Classics Triple-Milled Soap in Blood Orange. The RRP is $19.95. This soap smells amazing!! It’s blood orange blended with jasmine, rose and lilly of the valley. It will be a welcome addition to my bathroom.

The fourth item is a full size OPI Nail Lacquer. This has a RRP of $19.95. The shade I received is Grand Canyon Sunset which is dull pink/red colour. I really like the colour and I think it’s quite neutral. I can’t wait to try this.

The fifth item is Crop Natural Pure Macadamia Oil. It has a RRP of $18. I’m a huge fan of using oils and this one can be used to hydrate face, hair and nails. I used macadamia oil in my hair before and it made it so soft and shiny so I’ll be trying this at the weekend.

Last but by no means is least Gilded Cage Unleashed lipstick in the shade Singular Red. The RRP is $40. I only heard of this brand recently and I’m so impressed with the lipstick I received. The quality of packaging itself is really good and it looks really nice too. The colour I got is red with an orange undertone. It looks so nice. I can’t wait to wear it.

I loved this seasons The Parcel and received lots of goodies that I’m looking forward to try or can put to good use for my next giveaway. The of products in this box far outweighs what I paid so I’m delighted!

I only heard of Gilded Cage before it was sent too. Could’ve been from their sneak peaks but so impressed with the quality! Thanks for stopping by Di. I love your blog x Louise
