My Favourite Nude & Neutral Lipsticks

Every girl needs a nude lipstick in their collection. Nude and neutral shades can get you through any occasion whether you want a subtle day time look or your pairing it with a smokey eye for night time. Today I’m sharing with you my top neutral lipsticks. Some have a touch of colour, some are very subtle and others will help you rock the ninties Kylie Jenner look. You’ll be sure to find something you like AND best of all, these are all very affordable.

I’m going to start with the shades at the bottom and work my way up!

Maybelline Bold Matte Shade

Shade Name:  MAT7

Tone:               Pink Nude

Finish:             Matte

This is one of my most worn lipsticks. I love the pink undertone which I think is really subtle. The formula is nice and creamy even though it has a matte finish. It lasts a couple of hours on the lips especially if a lip liner is used.

NYX Extra Ceamy Lipstick

Shade Name:  Minimalism Minimalist

Tone:               Neutral Pink

Finish:             Satin

I really should wear this lipstick more often! I really love the colour. It’s really creamy and very comfortable on the lips.

Chi Chi Cosmetics Viva La Diva

Shade Name: Sex Bomb

Tone:               Pink

Finish:             Matte

This is a super opaque lipstick which is more on the pink side. It looks matte, feels creamy and lasts for approx. four hours.

Rimmel Kate Moss Nude

Shade Name: 45

Tone:               Pink

Finish:             Sheer-Satin

This is my absolute favourite lipstick for work at the moment. It isn’t opaque but the colour is pretty, like a ‘your lips but better’ type of shade. The pink tone is subtle and very wearable.

Maybelline Super Stay 14hr Lipstick

Shade Name: Keep Me Coral

Tone:               Orange

Finish:             Creamy Matte

The name is a bit deceiving. When I picture coral I picture something very bright and Summery. This is much more subtle and perfect for someone who’s afraid of a bold lip but wants something a little more colourful. This lipstick is opaque, comfortable, creamy and lasts for hours.

L’Oreal Color Riche Matte

Shade Name:  640

Tone:               Orange

Finish:             Matte

I adore the scent of this lipstick! This is a rusty nude with a matte finish. It’s really comfortable on. I’ve worn this out a couple of times for dinner and drinks and never had any need to reapply.

Chi Chi Cosmetics Viva La Diva

Shade Name:  Checkin In

Tone:               True Nude

Finish:             Matte

This is a super opaque lipstick which has a true nude shade. It looks matte, feels creamy and lasts for approx. four hours.

Maybelline Color Sensational

Shade Name:  Tantalizing Taupe

Tone:               True Nude

Finish:             Sheer

This is another one of my favourite nudes that I wear all the time. It’s such a wearable shade and it’s very comfortable on the lips.

The Balm Meet Matt(e) Hughes

Shade Name:  Committed

Tone:               Peachy Brown Nude

Finish:             Matte

This is a must have liquid lipstick in my opinion. I love the peppermint chocolate scent. The last hours and hours! Unlike other liquid lipsticks it doesn’t dry my lips out completely. This shade will suit a lot of skin tones.
